Roland Spinola was born in Cologne and qualified as an engineer in Munich. He has been active as a trainer and speaker for many years. He worked for a long time as a systems analyst and trainer for IBM and latterly as manager of the leadership development program. During his 24 years at IBM he worked amongst other things for six years as a trainer at the international training center in Brussels. At the beginning of the 1980s, he introduced the Herrmann Dominance Instrument (HBDI) for the analysis of thinking styles to Germany. He captured his experiences with this model and its various applications in a book and in many specialist articles.
Roland Spinola was a member of the advisory board to the German Regional Currency Association. He is concerned with the dramatic changes of our time and seeks to point out early warning signs and present new ideas for different behaviour patterns.
Roland is married, lives in Fulda and has three adult children.
