Hence, it is not without alternatives and can be reformed. While some of the mayor societal problems of our times can be attributed to our economics, we at monneta.org are intersted in the problems that arise specifically from the design of our monetary system. And, of course, we study the proposed solutions to those problems. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Here we have created brief introductory articles about the four main problems that arise from our current monetary system, and the four main categories of proposed solutions that we see.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Problems:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/monneta.org\/en\/the-money-system-requires-continual-growth\/\">growth-imperative<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/monneta.org\/en\/the-money-system-causes-a-systematic-redistribution-of-wealth-to-the-rich\/\">redistribution of wealth<\/a> ( from the poor to the rich! )<\/li>\n<li>necessity for ever <a href=\"https:\/\/monneta.org\/en\/the-money-system-causes-constantly-growing-debt\/\">increasing debt<\/a><\/li>\n<li>and <a href=\"https:\/\/monneta.org\/en\/the-money-system-creates-its-own-crises\/\">repetitive crises<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Proposed Solutions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/monneta.org\/en\/can-currency-diversity-and-complementary-money-systems-make-the-financial-economy-more-just-and-sustainable\/\">monetary diversity and complementary currencies<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/monneta.org\/en\/money-without-interest-can-it-work\/\">interst-free money<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/monneta.org\/en\/would-money-created-by-the-state-be-a-solution\/\">money created by the state<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/monneta.org\/en\/which-other-promising-solutions-are-there\/\">other reform proposals<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Those eight articles are also the curriculum of our online course &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/monneta.org\/en\/foundations\">Foundations of Monetary Reform&#8221;<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>For the proposed solutions there are 21 in-depth articles on the
